If Heated Rivalry left an ice-hockey-romance hole in your life, you’re in luck because the hotly-anticipated television series, Off Campus, is here to fill it.
The new television adaptation based on the best-selling book series by Elle Kennedy may just be one of the hotly (emphasis on the hot) anticipated shows of 2026. By now, you’ve probably seen it cannibalising your social feeds, so here’s what it’s all about and where you can watch it…
The “college soap” as Prime Video has dubbed it follows “an elite ice hockey team, and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery—forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood.”
Season one is expected to adapt the plotline of book one, The Deal, which centres on our favourite opposites-attract couple, Hannah (Ella Bright) and Garrett (Belmont Camelli).
In it, Hannah and Garrett strike up a deal to fake date in order to pique the interest of Hannah’s crush, Justin (Josh Heuston). In return, the straight-A student promises to help tutor Garrett through the semester. It’s our favourite kind of trope.
With five books in the core series (it’s since spurred a next gen series, too) it’s expected we’ll see at least four seasons of the show — one per couple. And, much to our delight, season two has already been greenlit by the production studio.
Whether the fifth book, The Legacy which is compilation of four, interconnected short stories from the main couples later in adulthood, is also adapted remains to be seen.
Where To Watch Off Campus In Australia?
It’s been a long wait for the television adaptation, which was first announced in late 2024 and now it’s finally here.
All eight episodes of Off Campus season one are available to watch now, which means a Garrett Graham binge-watch is definitely on the cards. The series will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video in Australia.
