Dark Comedy Series

If you love to watch rich people behaving badly, then Netflix’s latest series Sirens ticks all the right boxes. Set over a Labour Day weekend in upstate New York, a wealthy group of guests descend upon a beachside estate for a charity gala. Among them is one who clearly doesn’t belong: Devon.

There on a mission to bring her sister, Simone, home to help with their sick father, Devon quickly discovers her younger sibling has transformed into an entirely new person. What’s more, this new Simone seems utterly and creepily rapt with her billionaire boss, Michaela.

Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention. Devon, however, has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish beach estate, the series is about to become your new TV addiction.

Perhaps what’s more exciting than the prospect of a messy fall out between societies upper echelon is the star-studded line up that are set to play the leads. From Meghann Fahy to Australian actress, Milly Alcock, this is where you’ve seen the Sirens cast before.

Meet the Sirens Cast

Milly Alcock as Simone

Australian actress Milly Alcock may be new to Hollywood but she’s already making waves with some major roles both under her belt and to come.

The 25-year-old’s star saw an astronomical rise with her role on HBO’s Game Of Thrones spin-off, House of the Dragon. Alcock played the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in season one before the show time jumped and saw Emma D’Arcy take on the role.

As for upcoming roles, Alcock is set to take on the role of DC’s Supergirl both in the superhero franchise world as well as her own standalone film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

Meghann Fahy as Devon

marie claire Australia cover star, Meghann Fahy‘s resume is seriously stacked. Audiences first fell in love with the actress as Sutton Brady in glossy magazine drama, The Bold Type, but it was her role in season two of The White Lotus as Daphne that truly solidified her star power.

She’s since gone on to appear in Netfix hit The Perfect Couple alongside our very own Nicole Kidman and recent thriller, DROP, opposite Brandon Sklenar.

Fahy’s character Devon is a sharp diversion from previous roles we’ve seen the actress play. She’s as much a mess as she is a determined and unrelenting sister playing the mother figure to her younger sister who’s rapt with and a little too-close to her billionaire boss.

Julianne Moore as Michaela

Oscar winner Julianne Moore truly needs no introduction. The 64-year-old shot to fame in the 90s with the likes of Boogie Nights and The Hours.

One of her most iconic roles, however, will always be Clarice Starling in 1999 film, Hannibal opposite Anthony Hopkins. Other standout roles include Still Alice and the more recent, May December.

As for her role in Sirens, Moore plays Michaela, and ethereal yet formidable and somewhat terrifying suspected cult-leader (at least according to Devon).

In Sirens, Bacon plays hedge fund billionaire and husband to Moore’s character, Peter, who from the outset appears to be keeping some secrets of his own.

Glenn Howerton as Ethan

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia fans will be very familiar with the work of Glenn Howerton who played Dennis Reynolds on the beloved sitcom. He’s also appeared in romcom Must Love Dogs, The Strangers and more recently, Abbott Elementary.
