When it comes to Married At First Sight 2021, one of the strongest-seeming couples has to be Georgia Fairweather and Liam Cooper. Their romance has seemed effortless and supportive – until the recent dinner party, which showed some potential cracks in the foundations.
While Georgia and Liam had instant chemistry and a mutual attraction, it’s been their easy enjoyment of each other’s company that has had fans speculating that the couple will not only make it to final vows, but make it beyond the show as a real-life couple.
However, certain events of late have us thinking Georgia and Liam won’t last beyond the show. Here, we investigate whether they last.
1. Liam Said His Friends Wouldn’t Like Georgia
At last night’s dinner party, Liam went from being our favourite sweet husband on Married At First Sight 2021 to being enemy number 1, when he passionately exclaimed that his friends would not like Georgia, then went to get the group’s approval when he suggested that everyone hates Georgia when they first meet her.
It was super rude, and revealed a side to Liam we don’t love, to be honest. Could that comment be the beginning of the end for the couple?
2. Bryce Hinted That Liam & Georgia Lied About Sleeping Together
While Liam and Georgia easily developed from new friends to lovers, according to what they told the experts, Bryce Ruthven & Melissa Rawson hinted on the Kyle & Jackie O Show that Liam and Georgia lied about having sex during the show.
“You reckon there’s been no sex there, at all?” Kyle and Jackie asked regarding Liam and Georgia. “That’s the rumour that’s going around,” said Melissa. “It’s a very strong rumour that we’ve been told by multiple people on the show,” added Bryce.
3. The Damning Viral Video
By far the strongest indication that Liam and Georgia are over has to be the viral video that was posted to So Dramatic’s Instagram account, which saw Georgia and fellow MAFS stars Johnny and Jason talking trash about Liam, including awful comments that he’s “chubby” and “ugly”. Georgia laughs along, which is surely not something you’d do if you were still with your partner, right?
4. It Looks Like Georgia’s Been Hanging Out With Johnny A Lot
Finally, The Wash recently posted photos of Georgia and Johnny visiting the same Brisbane venues, with photos posted just days apart – hinting at them spending time together but not wanting fans to know about it.
They both posted photos at the Comuna Cantina bar and the pool at The Fantauzzo toward the end of last year. Just friends or something more?
