Miranda Kerr Opens Up About Divorce From Orlando Bloom

"It was the right thing to do"

Miranda Kerr has opened up about her divorce from Orlando Bloom in a new interview.

The Australian-born supermodel, who married her Snapchat founder beau Evan Spiegel earlier this year, revealed that her split from Bloom was “the right thing to do” and that the pair “weren’t bringing out the best in each other.”

Speaking to Net-A-Porter’s The EDIT, Kerr revealed that her and Bloom were still friends and that there’s “no hostility” – a good thing considering they share custody of their six-year-old son, Flynn.

The 34-year-old also shared a bit about her relationship with her second husband, who although seven years her junior is “a 50-year-old man in a young body.”

While that’s not the most exciting of ways to describe someone, it’s perfect for Kerr who is a total homebody – she wakes up and does yoga before taking Flynn to school, heading to work at Kora Organics, and then home to cook dinner for her boys.

“When [Evan] comes home, I make sure to have a nice dress on and the candles lit. We make time to have a nice dinner together.”
