Ever since she burst onto the Hollywood scene with her break-out role in The Wolf of Wall Street Margot Robbie hasn’t slwoed down.
While she’s currently on set filming the Tonya Harding biopic, ‘I, Tonya’, and she also has Suicide Squad stand-alone Gotham City Sirens, the live –action Peter Rabbit and A.A Milne film based on the origin of Winnie The Pooh all in the works. And now it’s just been announced that she has signed on to star as the lead role of Maid Marian in a new Robin Hood re-boot.
The film will be called Marian and be set after Robin Hood’s death as Marian leads her people into war.

According to The Hollywood Reporter:
Marian unfolds after the death of Robin Hood, the love of her life. The titular maiden then picks up his cause to lead her people into a pivotal war that will not only decide the fate of the kingdom, but also see her don the mantle of the man she loved. In the process, she rises as a legend herself.
