We’re officially halfway through the social experiment that is Married At First Sight. In the last six weeks the couples have married, honeymooned, met some of the in-laws, encountered four intruders, survived a cheating scandal and unknowingly become victims to a second cheating scandal.
Mick and Jess have had a rough week following the homestays, with Mick saying some pretty disgusting things about Jess’ family. Unsurprisingly, Mick wants to leave the experiment, but Jess wants to stay so she can progress her affair with Dan. Jules speaks up and says her decision doesn’t add up. Ning says she can’t understand why someone would want to stay with a person who has spoken horrible things about her family.
“You’ve gotta stick around another week,” says John. “You, this week, are going to meet Jess’ family and we’re going to watch with interest what happens.”

Jess is ridiculous but literally everyone besides Martha defending Mick is equally ridiculous.#MAFS #MAFSAU

So all the experts saw Jess trying to hook up with 2 other men, and yet nothing has been said. But it’s not ok for Mick to criticize her family #MAFS

I don’t understand why the experts are acting like they haven’t seen the video of Jess and Dan kissing and Mike telling Heidi he might try to fall in love with her. Why are they covering all this terrible behaviour #MAFS #MAFSAustralia #MAFSAU

Ok, I’m watching #MAFS now, and my god, the “experts” need to have a good, hard look at themselves. They know Jess is only staying to hook up w/ Dan, yet they’re allowing this deception. The drama is so unnecessary, I’d be very happy tuning in just to see Cam & Jules’ love story!
