Slick Woods is an inspiration. First, she famously walked the 2018 Fenty x Savage runway while in labour. Now, she’s “fighting for her life” after being diagnosed with cancer.
This week, she revealed on her Instagram that she’s currently undergoing chemotherapy. While she didn’t go into detail, she has since opened up about her battle with cancer.
In an interview with The Shade Room, she shared that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma cancer, and is “currently fighting for her life”.
But you wouldn’t know it. She’s putting on a strong face and she doesn’t want your pity.
“How I feel about chemotherapy, shout out to everyone that gotta go through it #atleastimalreadybald,” she said on Instagram.
She also shared a photo of her one-year-old son, Saphir, who is pulling a grumpy face. “Stop treating me like a victim,” Slick said in the caption.
