Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc, 29, and wife Alexandra Leclerc, 25, have welcomed their first child, a girl. The duo shared a collab post on Instagram of the baby’s tiny legs in light pink knit trousers and feet in cream socks with bows, captioning it with her name and birthdate.
“Bianca,” they wrote, followed by a white heart emoji and her birthday: November 3, 2026.
Fellow F1 drivers Oscar Piastri, George Russell, Pierre Gasly and Carlos Sainz commented on the post, sharing their congratulations. “Can’t wait to meet her,” wrote Carmen Mundt, the partner of Russell.
Leclerc, who drives for Ferrari, was in Mexico on Sunday, November 1 for the Grand Prix, but raced (pun intended) back to the couple’s home in Monaco for the birth. When asked about the pregnancy and birth at the US Grand Prix in late October, he said he was attempting to balance work with being there for his wife.
“I don’t think I’ll miss a race, but obviously I’ll do absolutely everything to be at home as much as possible in between those races,” he said to 9News). “So, I might arrive a little bit late. But I will be doing the races on Sunday.”
Leclerc’s expected to race in the Sao Paulo Grand Prix this Sunday, November 8. He and Alex went public with their romance in 2023 and married at Monaco City Hall in February 2026. In June, speaking with News Corp’s Stellar, Leclerc said: “Whoever is successful in life is also thanks to the people that he has around who have built him or her into the person that they are now.”
He continued: “Alexandra played a huge part in that. She’s incredibly passionate about art, fashion, and once we got together, we spoke about our mutual passions. I learnt a lot about her world that she loves. That was super interesting for me.”
Alex also spoke about their relationship this year, responding to an Instagram comment that she was “nothing without” Leclerc. “Actually without my husband I’m a normal girl, with my normal hobbies, my normal interests, my normal passions, who tries to be as kind as she can. That’s also what I love as his wife. And there’s nothing wrong with that.”
“That’s probably what you are too, and that’s great! We’re not all meant to be singers, doctors, actresses or athletes, and that doesn’t take away from someone’s value. Who you are as a person, how you treat others and what you choose to do with your freetime does tho! Reflect.”
