Carrie And Mr. Big Officially Reunite In Romantic New Photos From The ‘Sex And The City’ Reboot

In the words of Big himself: "Me and you, just us two"

Sex And The City fans rejoice, Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big (AKA John James Preston) have reunited in a series of sweet photos posted by Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth.

Taken while filming their respective roles as husband and wife in the SATC rebootAnd Just Like That…, the onscreen couple shared a peek into their long-awaited reunion on their Instagram.

The onscreen on-again-off-again couple had both a turbulent and utterly romantic relationship throughout the show’s six season run, that saw the pair finally tie the knot in the series’ 2008 self-titled film, but then saw their relationship hit choppy waters in the film’s sequel two years later.

On Parker’s Instagram, she can be seen smiling happily as Noth sweetly holds her face. Fans have pointed out that Big’s wedding ring is clearly visible in the image, allowing them to sigh relief after many shared their concern that the pair may have divorced after a portion of the revival’s script was leaked online.

“These 2,” Parker captioned the photo. “I bet they stay out late tonight.”

Not long after, Noth commented on the post with several whisky glass emojis, and then went onto share his own photo of the two. In Noth’s post, Parker is seen wrapping her arms around Big’s neck as the pair sit side-by-side.

“Together again!” The 66-year-old actor captioned the post.

Back on August 3, both Parker and Noth were spotted on set in their first public appearance since the revival began filming.  In the snaps Parker is in her usual fashion element, wearing a billowing white polkadot skirt, paired with her statement accessory du jour: A bird.

Speaking with Yahoo Finance Live in an interview back in June, Noth admitted that he felt “hesitant” at first, when it came to reprising his role.

“It was a little bit of a sort of creative negotiation because I didn’t really feel I had anything to offer in that role again,” he explained. “It kind of felt like I had done it. But [executive producer] Michael Patrick King is just an incredible writer and has incredible creative ideas. Once we got together and talked about the potential of what we could do with the character, I was all in.”

By now, fans clearly know that Noth will be well-and-truly present for the SATC reboot, but as for the status of Carrie and Mr. Big’s marriage? Well, that’s still up in the air.
