Merit Is Launching Into Sephora Australia — Here’s When To Get Your Hands On It

Makeup minimalists rejoice, cult clean beauty brand Merit is going to be even easier for Australians to add to their makeup bags.

The international brand first launched down under in late 2024, bringing its collection of understated and highly coveted products like its Minimalist Complexion Stick and Flush Balms to our shores with huge success. The only downfall? It remained strictly online, which meant avid fans went without the sacred ritual of colour matching, swatching and tester sampling.

The overwhelming turnout to the brand’s first Australian pop-up earlier this year clearly affirmed Merit-loyalists desire for an in-store experience. And thankfully, those pleas are being answered, with Merit set to launch into Sephora stores in Australia and New Zealand this year. 

“Our partnership with Sephora has been instrumental to Merit’s growth. Expanding that relationship into Australia and New Zealand is another important milestone for the brand, allowing us to introduce Merit to a new community of customers seeking in-person trial and discovery,” Philippe Pinatel, Chief Executive Officer, Merit, says.

Merit is launching exclusively at Sephora Australia and New Zealand on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, bringing the cult-favourite minimalist beauty brand to Sephora stores and online across the region.

Ahead of the official launch, Sephora Beauty Pass members will receive app-only early access from Monday, September 28, 2026.

Merit will be available to shop in 37 Sephora stores across Australia and New Zealand, as well as via Sephora’s Australian and New Zealand websites and the Sephora app.

The full Merit range, including its fragrance collection, will be available to shop at Sephora Australia and New Zealand, with the exception of The Uniform. This means beauty lovers will have access to Merit’s signature makeup, skincare and fragrance offerings when the brand launches in-store and online.
