After marrying in Seoul back in 2012, Im appeared on X-Factor Australia the next year where she took out the entire competition. While speaking to the Daily Telegraph, the 33-year-old said that despite her sudden rise to fame, her social worker husband has kept her grounded.
“We got married a year before the whole talent show thing, so he’s been there with me through all of it,” she told the publication.
“It’s really good to have him there, he understands everything I’ve been through and goes through the changes with me.
“Even though I’m the one in the spotlight he has been there with me.”
Recently, the Korean-Australian musician represented Australia in 2016's Eurovision in Sweden. And while her performance of 'Sound Of Silence' was award-winning in our eyes, she sadly didn’t win the competition.
