See What Everyone Wore To Bulgari’s Major New York Party This Weekend

Sofia Richie looked amazing

What do you wear to a party in a diamond shop? When the Italian luxury house and high jewellery leader Bulgari celebrated the re-opening of its iconic New York 5th Avenue flagship on Friday night, the dress code was “cocktail”. This, the stars interpreted as major league sparkle.

We were smitten by Sofia Richie’s ice-pink satin Giorgio Armani gown, which she accessorised with a classic diamond Bulgari ‘Serpenti’ necklace and cuff. Put one on your Christmas wish list (and start buying lotto tickets).

Lily Aldridge, star of the brand’s Autumn ’17 campaign, chose an exquisitely simple, form fitting black gown, all the better to set off her star-strewn collar. And all the better for patriotic Aussies too; it was by Alex Perry.

Her buddy Bella Hadid’s white embellished Roberto Cavalli dress was almost as sparkly as her jewels – Bulgari of course. Almost. Diamonds are still a girl’s best friend.

Demi Lovato, who sang at the post-party dinner, let her jewels do the dazzling. Ellie Goulding glimmered in butterfly-sleeved black lamé, while Ciara chose jaw-droppingly tight high-shine black PVC. She looked fierce but we hope there was someone at home to help her take it off at the end of the night.

As for the Shiniest Of Them All prize? We’re giving this to Bryan Grey-Yambao, AKA super blogger Bryan Boy, for his pink-and-black sequined robe. We love a man who can look this good in his dressing gown.

More Aussie connections? Ruby Rose was the event’s DJ. She, however, was too cool to dress up. Not that she didn’t look magnificent in her tartan pants and punk boots. Then again, she’d look magnificent in a sack – accessorised with diamonds of course.
