Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City‘s beloved heroine, was known for many things: her eccentric wardrobe, her even more eccentric taste in men, unabashedly wearing tutus in public, saying ‘I wondered…’ more than any other human alive, and—of course—her shoes.
The fictional journalist’s obsession with shoes (specifically, heels) was such a character cornerstone that a handful of episodes are dedicated to that subject alone.
And not without reason.
Whether they were blue satin Manolo Blahnik pumps with jewel buckles or the barely-there sandal before the barely-there sandal was a thing, Carrie’s shoe closet was a thing to behold.
