Kate Middleton Makes A Case For Preppy Outdoor Chic During Her Latest Engagement

The Duchess made two important visits in Northwest England.

Kate Middleton has proved outdoor fashion can be just as glamorously versatile as any in her latest royal engagement, which saw her visit Northwest England’s Cumbria to partake in several nature-filled activities.

The 39-year-old squeezed two major events into the day, first visiting the Windermere Adventure Training Center with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets where she joined them in rock climbing and mountain biking.

She was dressed for the occasion, wearing a puffer jacket by Seeland along with her signature skinny jeans and brown lace-up boots.

Later, the Duchess met with another local group: The Windermere Children.

This 300-strong local community were Holocaust survivors who relocated to the Lake District in 1945 where they were able to rehabilitate in the aftermath of their experience under the horrific Nazi regime.

The engagement was filled with poignant and meaningful moments, with Kate chatting amicably with guests as they shared their stories.

For the second event, Kate made a small outfit tweak which immediately transformed her look into outdoor active to, well, preppy active.

Perfectly complimenting the outdoor setting, the Duchess threw on a plaid blazer, believed to be designed by British label, Really Wild.

The engagements marked the second time we’ve seen the British royal within a week after she took a long break from the limelight over the summer.

Later this month, she will join Prince William along with her father-in-law Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall where they’ll attend the film premiere of the latest James Bond film—more glamour to come…
