The rise of the nepo baby is alive and well as Hollywood’s genetically blessed offspring turn their attention from silver screen roles to runway debuts.
The list of celebrity children, graciously dubbed nepo babies (nepotism babies) by the collective internet, following in their parents’ footsteps to pursue careers in film and television is well-documented. There’s The White Lotus’ Patrick Schwarzenegger, Dakota Johnson, Zoe Kravitz, the Apatow sisters, Maude and Iris, Maya Hawke, Kaia Gerber, Ray Nicholson, Jack Quaid…the list goes on and on.
Of late, however, there’s been a reinvigorated focus on a career in modelling from the next gen of nepo babies.

It’s not the first time the runway has proved a perfect path to walk for a nepo baby seeking a career in the spotlight. It’s where Kaia got her start before branching into acting, the launchpad for Bella and Gigi Hadid and the catalyst for Kendall Jenner to break from the prejudice association with her famous family and be considered a serious model.
This Autumn/Winter Paris Fashion Week initiated its next up-and-comer. Naomi Watt’s daughter Kai took to the Valentino runway, the 16-year-old donning an animal print look from the house’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection.
Ever the proud mum, Naomi shared behind-the-scenes footage of Kai, who she shares with ex Liev Schreiber, writing: “That’s my @maisonvalentino baby! I’m squealing with pride. Ilysm @kaischreiberrr ❤️”

In September last year, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, offspring of Nicole and Keith, made her modelling debut at Miu Miu for their Spring/Summer ‘25 runway show and has since featured in their new campaigns alongside Joey King.

Romeo Beckham is yet another nepo baby following his famous parents footsteps. While he hasn’t taken to the football field, he has clearly taken an interest in fashion like Victoria.
The 22-year-old has become a regular on the runways of fashion week in recent seasons, appearing at Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer show last year and more recently Versace for Autumn/Winter.
