Is it just us, or is pink everywhere on the red carpet these days? While millennial pink (the softer, pastel hue you saw everywhere in 2017 and 2018) might have been the talk of the town on the runways a few seasons back, this year is all about shocking, bright pink — especially on the red carpet.
Showing up on the 2019 Oscars red carpet in spades, shockingly bright pink was literally everywhere. From Crazy Rich Asians’ star Gemma Chan’s cascading pink Valentino gown to Helen Mirren’s tulle number and Kacey Musgraves’ larger-than-life ruffled number, the stars were awash in pink.
