Internet it-girl Gabbriette and The 1975 frontman Matty Healy have officially tied the knot, adding to the plethora of celebrity weddings that 2026 has ushered in.
The alty couple wed in Los Angeles at Madonna’s former estate, a Spanish Colonial Revival residence nestled in the Hollywood Hills, before an intimate yet star-studded gathering of friends and family. Among the attendees were Charli xcx and her husband, The 1975 drummer George Daniel, alongside Devon Lee Carlson, Alex Consani and Anastasia Karanikolaou.
Healy, who briefly dated Taylor Swift in 2023, married Gabbriette mere weeks after Swift herself wed Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden. Their own celebration was markedly more intimate, favouring an atmosphere of gothic romance over the fairytale garden-party aesthetic that Swift rumouredly embraced.
Sources have reported the newlyweds set an “Old Hollywood glamour” dress code for the occasion, which seems to align with the first glimpses we’ve seen from the celebration.
For her wedding dress, Gabbriette opted for a bespoke haute couture creation by French atelier Matières Fécales, founded by artist duo Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran, with the designers sharing a peak of the dress on Instagram.
The voluminous ivory silhouette features a scooped neckline and fitted bodice, cinched by a corseted back. The drop waist extends into a tiered train finished with a deliberately tattered, raw-edged hem, with the long sleeves similarly sharing the undone, textural finish. An ethereal cathedral-length veil completed the look.
Beside her, Healy opted for a classic black tux and bow tie, complete with a flower pinned to his lapel.
For her bachelorette celebrations, Gabbriette similarly embraced elements of classic bridal dressing, wearing a vintage white Chanel skirt suit from the brand’s Spring 2005 collection, styled with a net fascinator, patent pumps and a white Chanel bag. Brushed-out pin curls and a long French manicure completed the nostalgic look.
Set to Elvis Presley’s Viva Las Vegas, the Instagram carousel hinted at the vintage influences that would define her bridal style. On her wedding day, Gabbriette completed her look with a voluminous bouffant reminiscent of Priscilla Presley’s iconic hairstyle.
The couple first sparked romance rumours in September 2023 after they were spotted kissing in New York City, just months after Healy’s split from Taylor Swift. Less than a year later, the pair confirmed their engagement.
They announced the news in June 2024, with Gabbriette later sharing photos on Instagram showing off her unique engagement ring from Healy. The design features a black diamond surrounded by pavé diamonds, with additional diamonds set along the band.
Similar to her bridal wardrobe and overall aesthetic, the unconventional, gothic-inspired sparkler perfectly reflects Gabbriette’s style.
