You guys: Emma Stone is on her way to our living rooms. The La La Land actress is set to star in a Netflix adaptation of Norwegian black comedy Maniac, which explores the fantasy lives of two patients in a mental health hospital.
Jonah Hill will play Stone’s co-star, marking the first time the pair have worked together since 2007’s Superbad. It gets better: the series will be directed by Emmy-winning Cary Fukunaga – the guy who brought us True Detective. We know.

The only bad news is that filming doesn’t start until August, according to Deadline, so we have a while to wait for this one.
Stone, Hill and Fukunaga are all executive producers on the project. Let the anticipation commence.
