Few reality TV shows can lay claim to the kind of long-running romantic success enjoyed by Farmer Wants a Wife Australia. While plenty of dating shows (ahem, MAFS) have watched their couples split once the cameras stop rolling, FWAW has cultivated a remarkable succession of lasting love stories, complete with marriages, children and happily-ever-afters.
With the 2026 season now wrapped, it feels like the perfect time to take a trip down memory lane and revisit FWAW’s sweetest love stories. Because while this season only yielded one couple, Maya and Zac, all hope is certainly not lost that FWAW really is the ultimate matchmaker.
Ahead, all the Farmer Wants a Wife couples who are still together, all these years later.
Chris Newsome & Kim Tierney
Season 1, 2007
From the very first season, Farmer Wants A Wife seemed destined for success — and Chris and Kim’s love story was the perfect place to start. Chris took a gamble on the show’s inaugural season, but it more than paid off when he met Geelong-based disability worker Kim. Nearly two decades on, the couple are still together, sharing two children and a life on Chris’ farm in Tamworth.
Rob Hodges & Jo Fincham
Season 2, 2008
Beef and sheep farmer Rob Hodges, from Mount Gambier, found love with city girl Jo Fincham in season two. The pair quickly hit it off and went on to tie the knot. Now married with three children —Darcy, Maggie and Roy — Rob and Jo have since swapped the farm for life in Noosa.
Damian Atkins & Rachael Peynenborg
Season 3, 2009
Tasmanian farmer Damian Atkins found love with Rachael Peynenborg when the pair met on Farmer Wants A Wife in 2009. Their relationship unfolded somewhat slowly (considering the context and pace of the show), with the couple welcoming their first child, Harvey, in 2011 before tying the knot in 2016. They later expanded their family with two more children, Fin and Mae. More than a decade after first meeting on the show, Damian and Rachael are still together.
Brad Crane & Stacie Marmion
Season 4, 2009
Moving a little faster than Damian and Rachael, Lithgow cattle farmer Brad Crane knew almost immediately that Stacie was the one.
“I remember telling the producer, ‘I am going to marry that girl,’ and he turned and said, ‘Not yet, we have another 10 shows to go first,’” Crane told Woman’s Day in 2019.
The pair moved in together while the series was still being filmed, and Crane proposed to Marmion just six months into their relationship. They have since welcomed three children, Darcie, Bobbie and Frankie. In the same interview with Woman’s Day, Crane gushed, “We idolise our kids. They are the reason you keep doing everything you do.”
Scott Warby & Clare Spark
Season 4, 2009
Scott Warby and Clare Spark’s relationship survived the ultimate test of long-distance dating. After meeting on FWAW in 2009, the pair spent nine months travelling between Warby’s home in regional NSW and Spark’s base in Brisbane, making the most of their every-second-weekend visits.
Warby eventually proposed, and the couple married in 2011. Spark later relocated to Mungindi, where they have built a life together and now share two children, Elsie and Fraser.
Nathan McClymont & Amanda Ecker
Season 5, 2010
Nathan McClymont didn’t waste time when it came to matters of the heart. On the season five finale of Farmer Wants A Wife, the cattle farmer proposed to Amanda Ecker, setting a record for the fastest proposal in the show’s history.
Before finding love on television, Nathan was living and working on a sprawling 1.4-million-acre cattle station. Their whirlwind romance has since blossomed into a family of their own, with the couple now married and raising their three sons, Mason, Benjamin and Oscar.
Frank Atherton & Tenille Jolly
Season 7, 2011
Sometimes, five minutes is all it takes to find your person. For Frank Atherton and Tenille Jolly, a speed date on Farmer Wants A Wife in 2011 sparked a romance that would go the distance.
Two years after meeting on the show, Frank proposed to Tenille on Valentine’s Day. Today, the married couple live together on Frank’s Hughenden farm with their son, Oliver.
Nikko Lord & Jade Truman
Season 8, 2012
Richmond farmer Nikko Lord met yoga teacher Jade Truman on Farmer Wants A Wife, and the pair’s courtship ultimately proved to be the real deal.
Five years after meeting on the show, they married in 2017 on the idyllic North Stradbroke Island. Today, the couple are raising their two sons, Jock and Sandy, with their FWAW love story now spanning more than a decade.
Sam Alford & Jodie Byrne
Season 8, 2012
For Sam Alford and Jodie Byrne, a Farmer Wants A Wife romance eventually required them to close the considerable distance between them. The Kununurra cattleman and Sydney-based travel agent fell for one another during the show’s eighth season, but once the cameras stopped rolling, their lives on opposite sides of the country proved a little harder to reconcile.
Rather than allow geography to dictate the course of their relationship, Jodie made the decision to move west, relocating to Sam’s cattle farm just three months after the finale aired. The pair became engaged in 2012 and married in 2015, before welcoming their daughter, River, in 2018.
Andrew Guthrie & Jess Nathan
Season 11, 2021
After Season 8 wrapped on the Nine Network in 2012, Farmer Wants a Wife disappeared from screens for several years before making a brief return in 2016. The one-season revival, hosted by Sam McClymont, was short-lived, with the series soon entering another hiatus.
Then, in 2020, the show found a new home on the Seven Network, returning with Natalie Gruzlewski at the helm and ushering in a new chapter for the beloved dating series. It was during this revival that some of its most enduring love stories began to unfold.
One such story was that of Delegate farmer Andrew Guthrie and Jess Nathan, who met during Season 11 of Farmer Wants A Wife. The pair went on to purchase a property together in Andrew’s hometown, putting down roots and building a life well beyond the cameras and country courtships of the show.
Their love story reached another milestone in 2024 when they tied the knot. Today, Andrew and Jess remain happily married, sharing glimpses of their life together online.
Harry Lloyd & Tess Brookman
Season 12, 2022
Harry and Tess have been smitten ever since the season 12 finale, navigating a long-distance relationship between different states before Tess eventually made the move to join Harry on his farm in Kyabram, Victoria.
The couple took their relationship to the next level this year when Harry popped the question in a proposal that was every bit as charming as their love story. Speaking to Women’s Day, Tess recalled the sweet surprise:
“He went down on one knee and popped out this ring that was sitting in a little cowboy hat – that was the ring box. So cute, and so Harry, if you know him! The ring was gorgeous and I was so caught up in that moment that I was so surprised when our friend, who I thought wasn’t there, popped out from behind a tree and she’d recorded the whole thing.”
Will Simpson & Jessica Cova
Season 12, 2022
Will and Jessica are still going strong, with the pair getting engaged in February 2025. They told Woman’s Day they will wed at McGuigan House in the Hunter Valley, the same region where they first met on Farmer Wants A Wife in 2022.
The couple are planning an elegant black-tie garden affair, steering clear of the traditional farm setting, with fellow FWAW alumni Harry Lloyd and Tess Brookman, as well as Benjamin Jackson and Hannah Gracey, among the guests.
Benjamin Jackson & Hannah Gracey
Season 12, 2022
Season 12 proved to be a particularly fruitful chapter in the FWAW canon, with Benjamin and Hannah also getting engaged shortly after their season came to an end. The pair went on to tie the knot on June 5, 2026, exchanging vows in a beautiful beachside ceremony in Coffs Harbour.
Brad Jones & Clare Hockings
Season 13, 2023
Farmer Wants A Wife sweethearts Brad Jones and Clare Hockings welcomed their second son, Lachie Leigh, in October 2025, just weeks after getting engaged. The couple, who also share son Roy, have since settled into life as a family of four on their farm.
Matt Young & Olivia Benic
Season 13, 2023
Lovebirds Matt Young and Olivia Benic are still going strong after their stint on season 13 of Farmer Wants A Wife. The couple welcomed their first child, Henry, in August 2024 and have since settled into life together, buying a home and sharing sweet glimpses of their life online.
David McMahon & Emily Gordon
Season 13, 2023
Another love story to blossom from season 13 was David and Emily’s. The couple’s FWAW romance continued to flourish after filming wrapped, with the pair tying the knot in June 2025 before welcoming their daughter, Willa, in April 2026.
Todd Melbourne & Daisy Lamb
Season 14, 2024
Following Todd’s decision to choose Daisy in the 2024 finale, Daisy packed up her life in Queensland and moved to Todd’s cattle property near Baan Baa, NSW, to begin their life together. While the pair have been a little quieter on social media recently, all signs suggest their FWAW love story is still going strong.
Dustin Manwaring & Sophie Trethowan
Season 14, 2024
Dustin and Sophie still seem to be living their happily ever after. While the pair aren’t particularly active on social media, their Instagram accounts are a sweet little homage to their relationship and life together.
Speaking to Woman’s Day in 2025, Sophie revealed she had relocated to Dustin’s farm. “I packed up everything and moved to the farm permanently last October and we’ve been doing some renovations and fixing up the little cottage since,” she said.
Farmer Tom & Georgie Lavery
Season 15, 2025
In the 2025 season, Farmer Tom left no doubt about his feelings for Georgie, telling her in an emotional speech, “I’m totally in love with you.” A year on, the couple appear to be going from strength to strength, with Georgie moving to Wagga Wagga to be closer to Tom before eventually making the move to the farm.
The couple revealed they got engaged in January this year, and ahead of the 2026 season, Georgie shared a sweet throwback video documenting their journey, writing: “In your 20s, you’ll have the urge to apply for a dating show; it is very important that you do.”
Farmer Corey & Keeley Rankin
Season 15, 2025
Farmer Corey and Keeley are still going strong following their sweet journey on season 15 of FWAW. Since leaving the show, Keeley has moved to Corey’s farm in Biloela, with the couple settling into life together, and even watching the 2026 season of FWAW along with the rest of us.
Farmer Jack Lonie & Sarah Linklater
Season 15, 2025
Farmer Jack and Sarah are still going strong, with Sarah sharing sweet glimpses of their life together on the farm in Tasmania online.
From the very beginning, it was clear Sarah had caught Jack’s eye. She was the first to join him for a 24-hour date, and their chemistry quickly blossomed into the first steamy kiss for the farmer. So, when Jack ultimately chose Sarah over Olivia at the final decision, it came as little surprise.
Farmer Zac Kuiper & Maya Jade
Season 16, 2026
The latest success story to emerge from FWAW, and the only couple to make it through the turbulent 2026 season, Zac and Maya are still going strong! While Maya weathered her fair share of drama (particularly from resident villain Miranda) she ultimately braved the storm for apple orchard farmer Zac.
