The Farmer Wants A Wife reunion has just aired, and with it, all our burning questions about the fate of our farmers and their leading ladies have finally been answered.
We eagerly watched on as host Nat brought the farmers back together to recap what happened after the cameras stopped rolling, revealing where they stand now with their chosen ladies.
While the episode was punctuated with some tense moments (we’re looking at you, Alex and Eddy), for the most part, our couples appeared firmly settled in their love bubbles.
So, in case you missed it, here’s a Farmer Wants A Wife reunion recap featuring all the big admissions, even bigger bombshells and some unexpected updates.
Farmer Wants A Wife Reunion Recap Biggest Moments

Farmer Alex & Eddy Reunite

Despite being one of the strongest connections from the outset, Eddy and Farmer Alex, as many suspected, did not go the distance. Reflecting on the breakdown of their relationship, Alex told Nat, “Pretty much as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, I felt as though she recoiled. I can’t explain why she did what she did. I can only guess, but yeah, when the cameras stopped rolling, she… pulled back.”
It was evident Alex was still working through his feelings about it all, revealing Eddy had broken up with him over a 10-minute video chat. While he noted that he wasn’t okay at the time, he insisted he was doing better now.
For her part, Eddy revealed Alex had come with her to Sydney for a road trip, which, reading between the lines, may have been a little rocky, with Eddy telling Nat, “Road tripping is the ultimate test of a relationship.”
She then went away for work and revealed, “That time away from Alex kind of just made me realise it probably wasn’t working and I wasn’t feeling the way that I think that I should’ve been feeling. And I didn’t feel that was fair to Alex or fair to me and I made the decision to initiate that conversation.”
She continued, “Alex and I have very different relationship styles as well. Alex is a very deep, intense sort of person, whereas I am a bit more go-with-the-flow, easygoing.”
Nat then asked Alex if he had any lingering questions for Eddy, and he swiftly replied, “Yeah, heaps,” prompting Nat (and us) to visibly wince. Honestly, it was a bit of a hard watch.
Alex told Eddy he felt she had led him to believe she was more flexible about her religious beliefs on the show than she actually was, saying, “It was a bit… not great.” While she blamed it on getting caught up in the spark and connection they had, it was evident from Alex’s demeanour that he was not buying it. He also revealed she broke things off after only spending a week and a half together.
Since the reunion, Eddy has been spotted with a new man, and if this interaction with Alex was anything to go by, it seems unlikely these two will be staying in touch.
Farmer Dylan & Ally Are Still Going Strong

They got us, everybody! Despite the ominous editing in the teaser, these two lovebirds were still happily together at the reunion. While Dylan admitted he understands he’s asking for a lot in a relationship, he told Nat he hopes Ally can understand that and be willing to accommodate.
When Ally joined Dylan on the couch, their affection for one another was obvious as they revealed they are still figuring out their plans. However, Ally did share that she was flying to Adelaide to stay with Dylan “until further notice.” It wasn’t a complete move, but it sounded like she would be staying with him for a while.
While they’re not rushing into anything, Dylan made it clear he sees a future with Ally, saying, “It will be over a couple of months as to what is really going to happen, but I can see a future with Ally and I’m really keen on it…. What I feel for Ally is wild.”
He continued, “This farmer has definitely found his wife.”
And honestly, we hope he’s right — these two deserve to ride off into the sunset together.
Farmer Zac & Maya Are Happier Than Ever

Farmer Zac and Maya have us absolutely swooning. While their romance was a slower burn compared to some of the other couples this season, it’s clear the wait was worth it, with the pair emerging as one of the strongest connections from the experience. Zac revealed their “spark has ignited to a flame,” and their relationship has only continued to grow since filming wrapped.
Already, Maya has joined Zac as his plus-one to his sister’s wedding and met his extended family, marking some major milestones in their relationship. Zac also didn’t shy away from declaring his feelings, telling Maya, “I can absolutely say I’m in love with you.”
Maya also revealed they’ve already started discussing their future together, saying, “We have spoken about, I guess, a timeframe of me moving over to Adelaide and it would probably be within the six-month to a year mark… we’re very happy with how things are going.”
With these two clearly going from strength to strength, we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them!
Farmer Jarrad & Brodie’s Love Story Continues To Blossom

Jarrad was full of praise for Brodie at the reunion, continuing the sentiment he shared at the finale by calling her “an incredible woman.”
The pair revealed they had taken a step back and returned to basics after their whirlwind experience, giving themselves the chance to slow things down and continue building their relationship away from the cameras. Despite the slower pace, they appeared to be firmly ensconced in the honeymoon period.
Brodie also revealed she had met “Jarrad’s beautiful boys” and described it as a special experience seeing him in his element with his family. “He’s an amazing, doting father,” she told Nat.
Jarrad also hinted that wedding bells and even a child of their own could be on the cards in the future. It’s hard not to root for these two!
Farmer Jason & Poppy Reveal They’re Still Going Strong After The Finale

Poor Farmer Jason faced his fair share of challenges throughout his FWAW experience. Following a string of departures from his farm, many of which were beyond his control, he admitted at the reunion that the experience left him feeling unsure, saying, “I started doubting myself, like was I doing something wrong?”
Despite the setbacks, Jason told Nat that Poppy was the woman he felt an instant connection with. However, their relationship wasn’t without its challenges either, with their differing views on having children becoming a major sticking point. Jason admitted it was “hard to hear” that Poppy didn’t want kids, particularly given he had previously been open about wanting to have more children in the future.
But ultimately, Jason couldn’t ignore the connection they shared. “I followed my heart, there was something about Poppy I was drawn to. I know the whole kid talk kept coming up a lot but it was just hard to say no to her over that.”
Since filming wrapped, Poppy has spent time at the farm and met Jason’s kids, but has since returned to her own home, with the pair now spending their weekends together.
While Jason admitted it has been difficult not hearing Poppy say she is falling in love with him yet, he explained that she simply believes you can’t fall in love in five weeks. “It did make me question where it was going,” he told Nat.
When Nat asked Poppy if she had made the move to Jason’s farm yet, she was quick to explain that it “is far too early.” She continued, “I want it to develop naturally, I don’t want to force anything.”
Despite Poppy taking things one step at a time, the pair appeared happy with where their relationship is heading.
