The hotly anticipated second trailer for Tomb Raider has been released by Warner Bros. today, and if it tells us one thing, it’s this: Alicia Vikander’s Lara Croft is as fierce as they come.

Set fittingly to a backing track of Destiny’s Child’s ‘Survivor’, it shows Vikander in a rapid-fire sequence of wince-inducing action scenes on the mystery island where an army hell-bent on global genocide is secretly being assembled. Anyone worried that Vikander wouldn’t be able to fill Angelina Jolie’s well-worn Lara Croft boots needn’t have worried.
Tomb Raider also stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Dominic West, Walton Goggins and Daniel Wu. It hits cinemas on March 16.
