It, like us, you’re in need of a healthy dose of rest and relaxation, then Prime Video’s Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 might be just what the doctor ordered – especially when that medical mastermind is played by Nicole Kidman. After a stellar first season of psychological intrigue set in the lush hinterland of Australia’s Byron Bay, the Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 cast is heading north to the Austrian Alps, for a fresh take on the Liane Moriarty tale.
Fans of the gripping drama will be pleasantly surprised by the familiar faces set to hit the psychological slopes under resort director Masha’s (played by Kidman) questionable instruction.
As we suit up for another season of the hit show, get to know the newest guests checking into the cast of Nine Perfect Strangers season 2.
Here’s Where You’ve Seen The Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 Cast Before
Nicole Kidman as Masha Dmitrichenko

As the hardest working actor in Hollywood – bar none – Nicole Kidman needs no introduction. Kidman reprises her season one role as Masha Dmitrichenko, the complex Russian wellness warrior whose alternative treatment (if we could call it that) includes microdosing her patients with psychedelics.
In case you’re not familiar (in which case – where have you been?) the prolific award-winning actress is also known for her performances in films such as Moulin Rouge, Eyes Wide Shut, and Babygirl, as well as shows such as The Perfect Stranger and another Moriarty-favourite, Big Little Lies – just to name a few.
Murray Bartlett as Brian

According to the show’s synopsis, Australian actor Murray Bartlett will be checking into the Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 cast as a guest trying to outrun his scandalous past as a former children’s television host.
While the actor has been on our screens since 2000, his standout performance as Armond in The White Lotus, a role that saw him win the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, was one of our favourites. But, you’ll also recognise him from his heartbreaking role as Frank in The Last Of Us season one, as well as appearances in Looking, Tales of the City, and Physical.
Henry Golding as Peter

We were thrilled to learn that A-lister Henry Golding would be joining the Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 cast as Peter – a man searching for answers from his estranged, billionaire father. As per the show’s character descriptions, Peter shares a similar backstory with another resort guest.
Golding’s career is nothing short of impressive. From his breakout role in Crazy Rich Asians to his charming (and heartbreaking) performance in Last Christmas, his talents are obvious, his charisma even more so. Most recently, we’ve watched Golding in Guy Richie’s The Gentlemen, and the newly released follow-up to A Simple Favour.
Mark Strong as David

British actor Mark Strong is checking in as billionaire David, the emotionally detached father to Henry Golding’s character, Peter.
Known for his extensive acting credits, Strong has graced our screens on blockbusters such as The Kingsman franchise, Sherlock Holmes, The Imitation Game, Zero Dark Thirty and RocknRolla – just to name a few of many. Most recently, he’s starred in television series The Penguin and Dune: Prophecy, alongside Aussie actor (and rumoured Fourth Wing cast member) Josh Heuston.
Annie Murphy as Imogen

Beloved comedy genius, Annie Murphy is heading to Austria as the newest cast member in Nine Perfect Strangers season 2. Taking on the character of Imogen, the estranged daughter of Victoria (played by Christine Baranski, below).
The actress might be best known for playing Alexis in Schitt’s Creek, but you’ll also recognise her from season 6 of Black Mirror, and television series, Russian Doll.
Christine Baranski as Victoria

The inimitable Christine Baranski plays Victoria – a wealthy woman on a trip with her daughter (Annie Murphy) in Nine Perfect Strangers season 2.
A true veteran of the arts, the actor’s resume reads like a list of most-awarded projects, and with roles in films like The Birdcage, Cruel Intentions, Mamma Mia! and Chicago – it’s easy to see why.
No less prolific on the small screen, Baranski has starred in shows such as The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Cybill and period drama favourite, The Gilded Age.
King Princess as Tina

Making her acting debut in Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 is indie pop musician, King Princess (aka Mikaela Straus). She plays Tina, a former child prodigy who’s travelled to the retreat with her controlling girlfriend Wolfie (played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers) under the guise of a relaxing spa weekend. When she realises that the promised R&R is more self-help than steam rooms and LED masks, things start to go downhill.
While this might be the first time she’s appearing on screen as an actor, the artist’s songs have featured in films and shows such as The Morning Show, Bottoms, Arcane and Hacks.
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Wolfie

Maisie Richardson-Sellers is a British actress best known for her break-out role in The Originals, as well as her performances in shows such as Legends of Tomorrow and Of Kings and Prophets. She’s also appeared in The Kissing Booth 2 and 3 as Chloe.
Joining the Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 cast as Wolfie, her character travels to the Austrian resort with her partner, Tina under the guise of a sweet spa stay.
Lena Olin as Helena

She’s also well known for her role in critically-acclaimed film The Unbearable Lightness of Being, as well as performances in films Chocolat and the long-running series, Alias.
Olin plays Helena, Masha’s former mentor and the woman responsible for hiring her protégée to run the resort.
Lucas Englander as Martin

Lucas Englander plays Martin, the assistant hired to watch over Masha at the Zauberwald so ensure she stays away from the scandal that plagued her character in season one.
