It was the reunion tour we’d all been waiting for when Oasis announced they were returning to the stage together after famously breaking up in 2009. Turns out, the party isn’t over, with the Gallagher brothers confirming new tour dates for 2027.
It’s a tale as old as time: a band comes out of retirement for one more epic tour, only for that tour to be so successful it gets extended.
“Start the celebrations! After a period of reflection, The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force in Recent British History has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people. Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold,” the statement reads.
The newly confirmed Oasis Live 27 tour – an evolution of their 2025 name – spans 30 shows across the US, UK, Europe and Ireland, including a long-awaited return to Knebworth, which they last visited in 1996.
Notable stops along the tour include Manchester (of course), Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas and Slane Castle, beginning in Glasgow on May 21st.
Will The Oasis 2027 Tour Come To Australia?
At present, it’s unclear whether Oasis will bring their Live 27 tour to Australian shores. The band made the journey as part of their Oasis Live 25 tour, which spanned the UK, Europe, South America, East Asia and Australia. Unfortunately for west coast fans, the Australian leg only included two stops in Sydney and Melbourne.
There is a chance extra dates and legs of the 2027 tour could be added at a later date to include the Asia Pacific region, so cross your fingers and hope for an announcement soon.
