What Time Does Taylor Swift’s New Album ‘The Encore’ Come Out In Australia Today?

Taylor Swift never ceases to surprise us; this time, she’s announced four new songs to complete her album The Life Of A Showgirl, which she has dubbed The Encore. 

Almost one year on from the release of the record-breaking album, Swift revealed a new single, ‘Patient Zero’ before also dropping the news that three more tracks were coming, all on September 25th.

In an Instagram post to fans, the singer revealed that following the release of The Life Of A Showgirl, she travelled to Sweden to celebrate. But, ever the performer and creative she is, her joy over the album’s success needed to be channelled – into four new songs. Then and there, The Encore was born. 

“About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history. I took a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, my two collaborators on this album,” she recounted.

“Really, we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in, but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs.”

Taylor Swift’s new extended album, The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore, will be released on September 25th and midnight Eastern Time (ET). For Australians, this translates to a September 25th release at exactly 2pm AEST.
