Arguably the biggest night in Australian television each year, the 63rd TV Week Logie Awards are confirmed to return for 2023.
The night of nights will this year be held in Sydney for the first time in over 30 years, with Australian celebs of every television genre expected to flock to the red carpet at The Star.
The coveted awards will cover categories from Most Popular Presenter to Most Outstanding Children’s Program, and just about everything in between.
As well as celebrating Australia’s best small-screen talent, the Logies have also become synonymous with some pretty spectacular red carpet appearances, with our celebs not afraid to pull out all the fashionable stops for the star-studded occasion.
And while we’ll still have to wait a little while longer to see what our favourite celebs don on this year’s carpet, here’s everything you need to know ahead of the 2023 TV Week Logie Awards, including how to vote.
Where To Watch The 2023 Logie Awards
This year, the Logies will be broadcast by Seven Network, on Sunday July 30, 2023.
Exact details of the broadcast are yet to be released, but we expect the red carpet to kick off at around 4pm.
Who Will Host The 2023 Logies?
The Logies hasn’t had an official host to lead the show in 11 years – but this year that will change.
Comedian Sam Pang has been appointed as host of this year’s proceedings, telling News.com.au, “I feel very lucky to be a part of this industry and can’t wait for July 30 in Sydney to celebrate Australian television on its night of nights and guide viewers at home through the entire four hour broadcast.”
“It’s a huge honour to be asked to host the Logies and while it will be weird not having a buzzer or beer in front of me, hopefully I’m up to the challenge,” the Have You Been Paying Attention? star added.
Who Is Nominated For The Gold Logie?
The Gold Logie is the most prestigious category of the night, awarded to the Most Popular Personality on Australian Television. Last year, it was taken home by comedian and host of Lego Masters, Hamish Blake, marking his second time being awarded the top honour.
This year, Hamish is nominated again, alongside Julia Morris, Leigh Sales, Mark Coles Smith, Osher Günsberg, Shaun Micallef, and Sonia Kruger.
How To Vote For The Logies
You can have your say in all of the ‘Most Popular’ categories, including the coveted Gold Logie.
The public are able to cast their vote from 9am on Monday, June 19, with voting closing at 7:30pm on Sunday, July 30.
Voting for the Gold Logie will remain open until 10:30pm on Sunday, July 30.
