The theatre-like drink was previously only available in the UK. Made using the petals of the Butterfly Pea Flower, the Scottish craft gin turns from blue to pink when lemon or lime is added due to the changing pH levels. Colour changes vary depending on the type of mixers you use, meaning you can create your very own signature drink.
According to Dale McQueen, managing director and co-founder of McQueen Gin, the spirit is also distilled using forest fruits, additions which gives it a distinct flavour. “Not only does our new artisan gin taste great, but it also brings a little bit of theatre to gin o’clock,” he told The Independent. “Perfect to share with friends, it’s a delicious fruity gin with a difference.”
