Congratulations are in order for supermodel Gisele Bündchen, and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente who have welcomed their first child together. News of the pregnancy broke in late October last year. This is Bündchen’s third child although her first with Valente. She also shares an 11-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son with ex-husband Tom Brady. Bündchen and Valente have elected not to share the gender of their child.
Bündchen has been officially dating Valente since June of 2023, going public a few months after the supermodel’s divorce from Tom Brady was finalised. But, the two have known each other since 2021 when she started taking ju-jitsu classes with Valente. Valente co-owns a jiu-jitsu studio in Miami and Bündchen had signed her son up for classes before possibly spotting Valente and deciding to enrol herself.
After a tricky divorce from Tom Brady, Gisele seems to have found love with Valente. The couple enjoyed a babymoon in Costa Rica recently and have been spotted riding bikes and walking their dog the Miami neighbourhood where they build a home. “It feels like Brazil – I love how warm people are, Bündchen told Vogue of Miami in April.

TMZ have reported that the couple opted to not find out the baby’s gender as they wanted to find out for themselves when the child was born. The notoriously private couple have kept the birth under wraps, and it is understood that the child was born a little while ago. TMZ reported that Gisele was about 5-6 months pregnant in October indicating the birth was fairly recent.

Given we don’t know the gender of the baby we may not know the baby’s name for some time. Bündchen’s children with Tom Brady have fairly traditional names; her son is called Benjamin, and her daughter is called Vivian. It’s always possible the couple will choose a family name. Bündchen’s mother is called Vania and her father is called Valdir. Valente’s father is called José, and his mother is called Maria.
