Off Campus has been fuelling our romantic fantasies in more ways than one, with rumours co-stars Josh Heuston and Mika Abdalla are dating off screen. Relationship rumours have swirled around the couple since fans noticed the two frequently appearing in close quarters on each others’ social media.
Now, the two have been spotted cuddling up in Paris, with intimate photos of the two posted online. Originally shared by fans on TikTok, the images appear to show Heuston and Abdalla cuddling up at a convenience store, with one shot showing Heuston cradling the back of Abdalla’s head as they look into each other’s eyes. A further image shows Abdalla gently resting her hand on Heuston’s bicep.
The same day, Heuston also gave the rumour mill a good push by posting a photo of him and Abdalla sitting side-by-side on a business class flight.
The image appeared in a carousel of images with other members of the Off Campus cast, giving pause to the notion that Heuston and Abdalla are an item. However, given the subsequent images of them alone in Paris, fans have quickly jumped on the images as confirmation of a budding romance.
This is far from the first time they’ve appeared on each other’s Instagram, with both sharing photos of each other in various friendly set-ups.
While rumours of Heuston and Abdalla’s relationship remains unconfirmed, it does come amid confirmation that Mika recently split from her actor fiance, Jake Short. The two had been together for approximately five years.
Who Were Josh & Mika in Off Campus?
In the first season of Off Campus, Heuston, 29, played enigmatic musician, Justin Kohl. Meanwhile, Abdalla, 26, plays Allie Hayes, whose sizzling romance with Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn) will take centre stage in season two.
Although filming has commenced on season two of Off Campus, Heuston is not expected to return.
Off Campus was released on Prime Video in May 2026, and immediately garnered a dedicated fanbase. Although the series is adapted from the successful Off Campus book series by Elle Kennedy, the on-screen version is thought to have benefited from last year’s runaway success of Heated Rivalry, another series in the ice hockey-romance genre.
While neither Abdalla, Heuston or other members of the Off Campus cast have confirmed a romance between these two stars, we’re officially counting down to a hard launch.
