Lady Gaga has released an official statement revealing she’s been hospitalised for “severe physical pain that has impacted her ability to perform.” The singer has been forced to pull out of Brazil’s Rock in Rio music festival as a result.
The 31-year-old star has taken to social media to apologise to fans, along with two photos: one of her arm hooked up to an IV drip in hospital and the other, also taken in a hospital bed of a tattoo behind her ear.
“Brazil, I’m devastated that I’m not well enough to come to Rock In Rio,” Lady Gaga captioned one image. “I would do anything 4 u but I have to take care of my body right now. I ask for your grace and understanding, and promise that I will come back and perform for you soon.”
