Lorde recently took to Twitter to complain about a recent Uber driver who was so excited that he had just had a celebrity customer that he didn’t even notice that he had another one (her) in the back seat!
The New Zealand singer, who won two Grammy Awards for her song ‘Royals’ in 2014, is also friends with stars like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
She tweeted the incident live, with hilarious results:
One user astutely noted that she hadn’t released music in quite a while…
She fired back that actually she was just on her way to the studio…
She is currently in America, recording her follow up album to her debut release, Pure Heroine.
