Photos of protestors have filled the media over the past few weeks โ€“ from pink-hat-clad women taking part in the Womenโ€™s Marches to throngs of people protesting Trumpโ€™s anti-immigration ban at airports across the States.

But in the sea of photos, a few stand out โ€“ and this image by Chicago Tribune photographer Nuncio DiNuzzo is one of them.

The photo, which has gone viral, shows Rabbi Jordan Bendat-Appell and Muslim father Fatih Yildirim laughing as their children โ€“ nine-year-old Adin and seven-year-old Meryem โ€“ sit on their shoulders, both holding placards that read โ€œHome Has No Home Hereโ€™ and โ€˜Love Is Loveโ€™.

The Jewish Rabbi revealed to The Huffington Post that when the photo was snapped the fathers were swapping tips on where to get kosher steak.

โ€œWhat was wonderful was that it was a very human interaction โ€• not a Jew and Muslim, but two human beings (who look enough alike to be brothers!), standing up for what is right,โ€™ he admitted.

Even more poignantly, the two families are set to meet up soon for Shabbat. โ€˜Iโ€™m making steak, he is bringing baklava,โ€™ he joked.
