Dawn Ostroff, Spotify's chief content and advertising business officer, also released her own statement, sharing how she has faith in Meghan and Harry's upcoming content, she wrote:
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may live in California but the power of their voices rests in their status as citizens of the world. That they are embracing the extraordinary capacity of podcasts on Spotify while also seeking to elevate underrepresented voices is a testament to their appreciation for the potential of audio storytelling."
"We are proud to partner with The Duke and Duchess and look forward to listeners hearing directly from them and the other creators that they will be elevating via our global platform," the statement read.
On December 14, Markle also revealed that she had begun investing in businesses—with her first investment in a women-led coffee business called Clevr Blends.
According to Page Six, she gifted a package of the lattes to Oprah Winfrey, who then promoted the coffee to her 19.2 million Instagram followers.
While Harry and Meghan's first complete series won't arrive until 2021, fans can expect a holiday special hosted by the royal couple, that is slated to premiere later in December.
You can hear an exciting (and rather flirty) teaser of the upcoming episode here.
