Selling Sunset's season 5 was renewed at the same time as season 4.
Absolutely. Back in March, Netflix confirmed that Selling Sunset would be headed back to our screens for a fifth season when announcing that it had been renewed for a fourth.
The cast took to Instagram to celebrate the beginning of filming in May of this year, and according to the cast, season five was filmed around the same time.
Sharing photos from set, Mary Fitzgerald posting a snap beside her fellow agents, along with the caption, "We’re back baby! Selling Sunset Season 4 & 5 coming to you so so sooooon!!!".
Clearly, Mary's caption insinuates that both seasons were shot in conjunction, so surely the wait between the two won't be long.
What is going to happen in Selling Sunset season 5?
While we're well aware of Jason and Chrishell's relationship, their romance is yet to appear onscreen, until now. The upcoming season looks to primarily focus on their decision to date, with each realtor sharing their thoughts on the new couple in the office.
“We became best friends before anything, and I’ve never had that before," Chrishell previously told Cosmopolitan UK.
"We know everything about each other and tell each other everything. We’re silly and laugh a lot. I love that there’s no need to try and pretend to be the best version of yourself.
"I recommend being friends with someone first—I’ve never done that before and it’s quite different.”
The fifth season will also see a few cast members—Chrishell and Mary, at least—take a holiday to Greece. Of course, said trip was when Chrishell and Jason chose to go public with their relationship, so it looks as if we'll be witnessing the chain of events first hand.
“Without giving too much away, I think people can be deceptive,” Mary told Cosmopolitan. With Chrishell and Jason’s relationship and the two Selling Sunset spinoffs, there'll likely be new alliances, dramatic fights, and potential crossovers a plenty.
Is there a trailer for Selling Sunset season 5?
Yes! A full length trailer has been released on April 8, and of course, the upcoming episodes look just as good as we'd hoped. With a clear focus on Chrishell and Jason's relationship, the trailer shows every other realtor discussing their feelings over the news. Plus, there's some teasing of the Oppenheim realtor's newest addition, Chelsea Lazkani. Honestly, we can't wait.

Which cast members will be returning for Selling Sunset season 5?
In season four, fresh faces Emma Hernan and Vanessa Villela joined the group, so chances are they'll be on our screens in the fifth season.
Of course, original Selling Sunset cast members Mary Fitzgerald, Chrishell Stause, and Christine Quinn are already confirmed for the new instalment.
And joining them will be Amanza Smith, Maya Vander, Heather Rae El Moussa, Davina Potratz and Romain Bonnet, as well as Jason and Brett Oppenheim, as per a Netflix press release.
As for any new faces, well, there's a new agent in town. On March 22, newcomer Chelsea Lazkani was announced as the newest addition to the Oppenheim Group.
“I will say it's really electric,” the real estate agent told People about the fifth season, adding, “It's nothing you've ever seen before on TV.”
When Will Selling Sunset Season 5 Premiere?
Mark your calendars, because the show's fifth season is heading to our screens sooner than we thought. Confirming the news on March 22, Netflix announced that the show's latest instalment will be available to stream from April 22, 2022.
