Amy also invited fellow mothers to share how they coped with the transition from maternity leave to work, which was met with a wide response.
“I didn’t care about anything. Everything seemed trivial if it wasn’t about my kids,” fellow actress Drew Barrymore commented.
“But after time, things fall into the new place. Not the old. Old is gone. Forever changed by a love that is indescribable! And it just seems to get better and better every day! “Thanks, Mama. Love, Gene & all the mamas who need strong examples of motherhood and support. 🙏🏽,” supermodel Christy Turlington added.
Amy Schumer and her husband, Chris Fischer, welcomed their son in May this year.
In true Amy fashion, she shared a joke in her Instagram announcement of her son's birth.
"10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born," she wrote in the caption.
