It was billed as a comeback of epic proportions.
And last night – nine years after she last performed at the VMAs, Britney Spears returned to the spotlight.
The 34 year old wore an acid-yellow sequinned leotard with matching over-the-knee boots to perform her new hit Make Me with rapper G-Eazy.
And although we’re on Team Britney (after all, she played a formative role in our teenage years), the internet was less than impressed.
Other users applauded Spears on her comeback and echoed Kim Kardashian’s statement.
Here’s the full performance. Say what you like, but for a woman with two kids, we think she’s not doing too badly.
