Dior has unveiled its first couture collection under its first female artistic director, Maria Grazia Chiruri.
The 70th anniversary couture show was held at Musée Rodin in Paris, and brought the museum’s outdoor gardens inside, where the show was staged around a full-sized maze constructed from hedges and carpeted moss.
Reminiscent of A Midsummer Nights Dream, the show featured models in ethereal masks and headdresses with elongated silhouettes.
Chiruri made a personal statement with the show dedicating it to Franca Sozzani, the late editor-in-chief of Italian Vogue.
A-Listers including Kirsten Dunst, Diane Kruger, Olivia Palermo and A$AP Rocky all sat front row.
