Fashion month is finally over! With it, plenty of street style moments, trends from outside the shows, trends from inside the shows and notable designer moments. But what are the takeaways? Apart from being tired and ready to sleep, there are a few things we noticed from New York, London, Milan and Paris — this one colour included.
It was on the streets and the runways en masse, and it seems beige is here to stay. Whether it was a classic trench coat, a pair of caramel-coloured trousers or a tickled brown cardigan, beige was out in force throughout every city, showing up in just about every variation and on so many different garments. In other words, it’s the new pink!
So, is it here to stay? Unlike its millennial pink or sorbet pastel counterparts, beige is a sort of blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shade. Inoffensive and almost unassuming, a full beige look is not likely to attract much attention, letting those who embrace it slide relatively under the radar, even when dressed head-to-toe.
Not convinced? We’ve rounded up our favourite beige moments from the street style season that was, because beige can be much more than just a trench.

She’s interviewed everyone from Nicole Kidman to Kendall Jenner but didn't get a single good photo.
