Is there a better duo than Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth? The perfect royal pair, the two always turn heads when they arrive in a room together. So, for a recent garden party at Buckingham Palace, it only makes sense they would coordinate their colour palette.
Kate, who opted for a pretty pink dress by Alexander McQueen, matched perfectly in pastels with the Queen, who went with a light blue jacket and matching floral hat.

Kate finished the look with nude pumps, a light pink Loeffler Randall clutch and a pair of Princess Diana’s pearl earrings. Queen Elizabeth showed a glimpse of a floral dress, which peeked under her pastel blue jacket. So much pastel, so much coordination!

Prince William was notably in attendance, standing alongside his wife and holding an umbrella for the pair. The Queen carried her own umbrella, a sheer, black-tinged style that matched her black bag.
The occasion marked the second time this week that the Kate/Elizabeth duo have stepped out together. On Monday, the Duchess and Queen Elizabeth attended the Chelsea Flower Show together.
