Kylie Jenner Just Stepped Out In The Most Silhouette-Enhancing Mugler Gown

Statement — made.

The Kar-Jenners are nothing if not the reigning supreme of restrictive dressing, and Kylie Jenner’s latest sartorial moment is no exception.

Attending the Thierry Mugler: Couturissime” exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, the youngest family member appeared in a breathtaking figure-hugging gown in black, designed of course, by Mugler.

Completing the look with a feather boa train and accessories from Mugler’s own archives (including a diamond headdress with drop jewels), she was out to make a statement, and make one she did.

“Wowow what a beautiful night celebrating the opening of the Thierry Mugler Archive Exhibition at the Brooklyn museum,” she wrote on Instagram. “Such an honor to wear a piece of fashion history. thank you to the mugler team 🖤 and make sure to stop by to see the exhibition while it’s there, celebrating the life and art of the forever iconic Thierry Mugler.

Given the restrictive nature of the dress, the 25-year-old changed into a sheer, black catsuit to explore the exhibition, with a white cape draped over her shoulders.

We have no doubt that her daring outfit choice would have been adored by the late designer, who often referred to his creations as ‘glamazon.’ The beloved fashion designer Thierry Mugler, who is the man behind the namesake brand, passed away of natural causes in his Paris home earlier this year. His brand was, and still is, globally-renowned, having been worn by the likes of  Lady GagaMadonnaKim KardashianCindy CrawfordNicole KidmanMegan Fox and Rihanna.

While the realities of wearing such a dress are usually kept under wraps, the Kylie Cosmetics owner proved she’s always ready to laugh at herself, after uploading a hilarious clip of her shuffling through the exhibit in her gown.

Clutching onto Mugler creative director Casey Cadwallader for dear life, she was undoubtedly battling against the fabric, but as they say, beauty is pain.

“This is how we have to walk in this dress. It’s worth it!” she can be heard saying in the video.

It’s possible she’d taken shuffling lessons from Kim Kardashian, who went viral on TikTok a few months ago after struggling to walk in a Dolce & Gabbana gown during Milan Fashion Week.

“Is there any elevator?” Kim can be heard asking.

Oh, and let’s not forget Kendall’s attempt to climb the stairs in Portofino for Kourtney and Travis’ wedding in May this year.

“S–t these stairs are crazy,” Kendall can be heard telling Kylie, who wasted no time uploading it to Instagram.

You have to love a family that’s this committed to fashion, right?
