The red carpet arrivals are rolling in at the 2023 Grammy Awards, and Lizzo has made a seriously show stopping entrance.
Wrapped in a dramatic floral embroidered cape, the 34-year-old rapper and singer proved that florals still reign this awards season.
Lizzo’s floral red carpet look follows the likes of Sepideh Moafi, Jenny Slate, Rhea Seehorn and Emma D’arcy, who all favoured the floral motif at the 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards earlier this year.
Under the impressive hooded cape, Lizzo modelled a peach coloured dress with a corseted bodice and orange mesh gloves.
The star’s makeup look involved a bold orange eye-shadow and fanned lashes.
Lizzo was accompanied on the red carpet by her newly hard-launched boyfriend Myke Wright, who looked exceedingly dapper himself, in a black suit and bow tie.
Lizzo gave her fans a sneak peak at her red carpet look earlier today, when she posted a picture of her floral outfit on Instagram with the caption “spring awakening.”
The singer is up for five Grammy awards, having earned nominations for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Lizzo is also set to take the Grammys stage as a performer, alongside a superstar studded lineup that includes Harry Styles, Luke Combs, Bad Bunny, Mary J Blige and Sam Smith with Kim Petras.
The star already has three Grammy awards to her name, having won Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Traditional R&B Performance in 2020.
