When Meghan Markle speaks, we listen. And, her latest outfit is saying a lot for the 2022 trend many of us had written off: low-rise jeans.
Kicking off the Invictus Games, founded by husband, Prince Harry, after a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out in a relatively casual, yet classic ensemble of jeans and a tee.
It was the style of jeans, however, that caught us by surprise with the stylish royal making the ’00s jean shape not only look chic, but wearable for everyday.
It’s no surprise the 40-year-old steered clear of the kind of cropped and fitted tops usually seen styled with the low-rise pants, instead opting for a white T-shirt, black tweed Celine jacket, matching bag and ballet flats.
