Voluminous Dresses Are Back In Full Force This Spring

Pump up the volume

We’re not quite sure when, or even why, it happened, but at some point last year, dresses began in increasing in volume at break-neck speed until we wanted to look just like a literal walking cloud.

We saw puffy sleeves, ornate twill fabrics, and bountiful tiered dresses, all seemingly  pushing the limits of physics and giving Princess Di’s iconic ’80s wedding gown a run for its money.

But now that the trend has well and truly settled, we know we’re not just looking at a passing fad. No, voluminous dresses have carved out a permanent place in our wardrobes

And, now that the sun is shining and the flowers are blooming again, we can’t think of anything we want to wear more than these 10 floaty picks that are sure to put a pep in your step this season.
