You know we’re mad for a boozy Aldi bargain here at Marie Claire, whether it’s an affordable pink gin, or a 3-litre bottle of prosecco.
Here’s some more news to cheers to: an Aldi wine just won a gold medal at the 2017 Great Australian Shiraz Challenge.
The wining drop? The One Road South Australian Heathcote Shiraz 2016, which costs just $6.99. The shiraz is the most affordable wine on the list that received the “gold” scoring.

It also beat out a bunch of other reds on the list— including silver medallist Bird in Hand 2013 MAC Shiraz, which will set you back $350.
