It’s official: another Farmer Wants A Wife love story has blossomed into a gorgeous family with Farmer David and Emily announcing the arrival of their first child together.
Taking to Instagram to share the news on April 14, the couple revealed they had welcomed a baby girl just days prior on April 10th.
“To have you in our arms is an indescribable feeding – we love you,” the pair wrote in a joint post alongside multiple black and white photographs from the hospital.
In the photos, the sweet moniker for their baby girl was also on display: Willa Mae McMahon.

The post was instantly flooded with well-wishes from fellow Farmer Wants A Wife stars including season 12’s Jessica Cova, who wrote: “This is the best! Welcome to the world little one.”
“Congratulations Em and David! Welcome to parenthood, it’s a wild ride. She’s a doll xx,” added Clare Hockings who ended up with Farmer Brad in 2023.
The fan favourites found love on the 2023 season of Farmer Wants A Wife and went on to wed in October of 2024 becoming just one of many success stories from the dating show.
“When I’m with Emily, I always feel that smile coming on my face constantly,” David said ahead of the 2023 finale, reflecting on how far they’d come. “I think it’s fair to say that when we started this adventure, neither of us knew what could unfold.”
His final declaration only cemented what viewers had been watching build all season. “Emily, you are the most genuine person I know… I know you haven’t had many serious relationships, but starting today, this can be your first, and hopefully last.”
While they may have found love in front of the cameras, it’s clear their most meaningful chapter is unfolding far away from them, in the quiet, joy-filled moments of life with their newborn daughter.
