Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber and brother to model Kaia Gerber, has sadly died aged 27.
A representative for the family confirmed the tragic news before asking for privacy “during this very difficult and painful time.”
Presley was the eldest child of Crawford and Gerber, born in Beverly Hills in 1999, to years before his sister Kaia.
Like his mum and sister, Gerber worked as a model, first making his runway debut for Moschino in 2016 before going on to appear in campaigns and shows for brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.

The 27-year-old passed away on Sunday, September 20, in Los Angeles, at a rehabilitation facility; his cause of death, however, has not been confirmed. The model had, in recent years, spoken openly about his mental health and experience with substance use, using his platform to encourage others to seek help.
In an interview with Studio 22 podcast, Gerber revealed that his mental health had become a “24/7 job”.
“Having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that’s all I need to do.”

His sister Kaia has also spoken candidly about her brother’s struggles and how that shaped her own relationship with asking for help.
“I think that’s also why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help. Because it felt like too much to have two children who were needing,” Kaia told Vogue in 2021.
She also praised Presley’s willingness to speak publicly about his experience.
“My parents for most of our lives were very, very private and didn’t share anything – and now we have this absolute teacher, my brother, who says, ‘I’m gonna be very human for everyone.’ There’s only so much you can hide from the world,” she said.
