They may not have been in attendance at todays’ awards ceremony but Zendaya and Tom Holland still emerged as the night’s most compelling storyline.
As the Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, unfolded in Los Angeles, neither had projects in contention this year, nor were they presenting. Yet it was Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, who delivered the evening’s most unexpected reveal.
“The wedding already happened, you missed it,” he told Access Hollywood with a knowing smile. “It’s true.”
For Zendaya and Holland, the red carpet has often doubled as a site of revelation. Their engagement first became public at the 2025 Golden Globes when Zendaya subtly confirmed the news via her sparkling bezel-set east-west diamond.

If that confirmation was understated, the wedding appears to have followed the same instinct.
That discretion has defined their relationship since they met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. Though not romantically linked until 2021, they have since maintained one of Hollywood’s most low-profile partnerships.
They have not walked a red carpet together since December 2021, and Roach previously hinted that any future wedding images would be closely guarded.
Zendaya has long been candid about navigating the demands of fame. In a recent interview with The Mirror, she reflected, “Neither of us want to hide and not live our lives and do normal things like go out for dinner, but at the same time we want to protect our privacy. You have to accept that to a degree some aspects of your privacy are going to be out of your control. But the parts that are in our control, we fiercely protect.”
Speculation about a wedding had been building for months. In February, Zendaya was photographed in Los Angeles wearing a slim gold band on her ring finger, prompting fans to wonder whether the ceremony had already taken place.
Professionally, however, the silence is temporary. The couple are set to star in Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming adaptation of The Odyssey, with Zendaya as Athena and Holland as Telemachus, due this summer.
With multiple major projects ahead, a 2027 awards season run together feels entirely plausible. Roach has already forecast a year dense with premieres. “There’s a lot of red carpets coming,” he said. “I’m resting up.”
Given Zendaya and Roach’s formidable approach to red carpet style, anticipation inevitably turns to what we did not see. If the wedding has unfolded out of view, we can only hope that one day we’ll be granted a glimpse of what was surely a breathtaking bridal moment.
