Hours after announcing their engagement, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down for their first joint interview.
Speaking to the BBC, the happy couple revealed how Harry popped the question, the significance behind Meghan’s stunning ring, and how they first met, but it’s the loved-up outtakes, which surfaced overnight, that really has us swooning.
Though the below clip has no sound, lip-reader Tina Lannin has revealed to The Sun exactly what the pair was saying, while their mics were switched off.
Harry appears to be describing the pair’s safari in Botswana last year – which they went on after just two dates – when Meghan interjects, saying: “It was five days, yeah.”
Harry then turns to his bride-to-be and, referring to BBC journalist Mishal Husain, says “she wants me to say something”.
Meghan can be seen bursting into laughter before saying “sorry” and resting her chin on her fist to show she’s listening to her future husband.
Harry then pretends to be angry by slapping his leg and adding “goddammit”.
Ah, young love!
