The ’00s produced some questionable hair trends—the pouf, waaaay too many face-framing layers— but that’s not to say it was all bad. Behold, the flippy lob. Your favourite early ’00s hairstyle – classically worn with a going out top and low rise jeans – is back. The shoulder length haircut is currently being seen on celebrities including Bella Hadid, Margot Robbie and Jennifer Lopez. Plus, it’s already been adopted by the trendy street style set.
“This retro-modern style is a fresh look on a lob because I think we’ve been seeing a beach wave so much. It gives the cut a more individual style,” celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russelln told InStyle U.S.
