Emma Watson’s entire beauty and health routine revealed

It’s all about long baths and breakfast tacos

Emma Watson is the world’s favourite beauty muse/fearless feminist/ethical fashion activist right now, and happily, the Beauty & the Beast star doesn’t hold back when it comes to sharing her ways.

Speaking to Into the Gloss, Emma revealed her entire beauty and skincare routine – right down to the kind of detail stars of her ilk usually leave out.

“There’s still so much shame around the things you do to get ready while you’ve got a towel wrapped around your head,” Emma says. “It’s important for me not to edit that out.”

“I’ve been bleaching my top lip since I was nine,” she goes on to say, adding that she insisted her freckles weren’t blurred out of Beauty & the Beast because “there are so many young girls who are going through puberty who really hate having them, so I felt the need to say that I have them and that I think the look of natural skin is beautiful.”

It’s a refreshingly honest approach that’s largely missing from celeb beauty talk, and one that makes us appreciate Emma all the more.

That, and her unapologetic penchant for long, luxurious baths – sometimes as many as three times a day.

“I have a bath every single day of my life,” she tells Into the Gloss. “And if I can have two or three – amazing. Nothing terrible is going to happen in the bath.”

Epsom salts, C.O Bigelow Apothecary Cold and Flu Soak and Lola’s Apothecary Queen of Roses bath milk are her soaks of choice.

Her thrice-daily bathing ritual may seem indulgent, but after a grueling workout with celebrity trainer Emily Drew, we kind of get it.

Emma does intense 30-minute workouts with Drew, focusing on stretching, strength and stillness (holding yoga poses while meditating), according to Delish. She does stability ball exercises to tone her obliques, combined with cardio, extra ab work and walking.

As far as diet goes, Emma takes Omega-3 supplements and makes a mean Mexican breakfast taco. “I make guacamole, salsa and scrambled eggs, and then I cook the tortilla,” she tells marie claire US. “It’s pretty simple, really, but yummy.”
