Michelle Yeoh made a grand entrance to the 95th annual Academy Awards.
Looking the part, the Best Lead Actress nominee stepped on the Oscars red carpet in a breathtakingly romantic white fringed Dior gown adorned with diamonds.
Yeoh paired the gown with a pair of Moussaieff Jewellers silver earrings, a similarly glittering Richard Mille watch, while the star’s hair was worn in long, soft waves with a sophisticated side part and silver headband.
While the Everything Everywhere All At Once actress claims to ordinarily prefer dressing in casual shirts and jeans, she likes to view the red carpet as playtime, telling ELLE US in October 2022, “They don’t dream about seeing you messy, and walking away from the trailer to set with hair curlers and a big bathrobe. You have to give them the fantasy.”
In her fairy-tale-like shimmering Dior dress, Yeoh seems to have done just that.
Yeoh has already won a slew of awards this awards season for her role as Evelyn, an immigrant wife and mother trying to be everything for everyone, in Everything Everywhere All At Once.
So far, the 60-year-old actress has taken out trophies at SAG Awards, Golden Globes, BAFTAs and Critics’ Choice.
If Yeoh continues her winning streak at the Academy Awards, she will make history as the fourth non-white woman and first Asian actress to win the Best Actress category.
Fingers crossed for her.
